Playing the part of Obama to YouTube's Hillary, independent music web site Pitchfork Media has announced its intention to launch an online video site dedicated to independent music. With the promise of "mini-documentaries, secret rooftop and basement sessions, full concerts, exclusive interviews, and the most carefully curated selection of music videos online," Pitchfork TV will launch on April 7th.

They're also talking full-length feature films, vintage concerts, and music DVDs at no cost. Maybe they'll pay for it with advertising?
