Free Kitten Comes Back To Life

By: Spacelab Research Staff

One of the grooviest side projects of the nineties, Free Kitten, have reunited and will release a new album later this year. The project includes Kim Gordon of Sonic Youth, Yoshimi of the Boredoms, and Julie Cafritz of Pussy Galore, STP, and Action Swingers.

They'll release the album, titled Inherit on Thurston Moore's Ecstatic Peace Records.

"Free Kitten, consisting of Kim plus Julie Cafritz, and Yoshimi have recorded a brand new studio album which is going to be released soon on Ecstatic Peace! Records," reads a message on the Sonic Youth web site.

This will be the first release since 1997's Sentimental Education on Kill Rock Stars.
