Semiconductor have won an award for Best Film at the Cutting Edge at the British Animation Awards for their work on the film Magnetic Movie.

Magnetic Movie is an Animate Projects commission for Channel 4 in association with Arts Council England. The film highlights the work being done at NASA'a Space Sciences Laboratories at UC Berkley, where Semiconductor cohorts Ruth Jarman and Joseph Gerhardt collected the footage while working as artists in residence.
