Liz Phair's classic Exile in Guyville has been appropriated from exile by ATO Records for the reissue treatment. It's been 15 years since the release of the landmark, seminal album. Pitchfork is reporting that this incarnation will have four additional songs, adding "So between this, My Morning Jacket, and Radiohead, is it finally time to stop hating Dave Matthews?"
There's more ... it will be packaged with a DVD titled Guyville Redux, in which Liz Phair wnaders around Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood, talking to the likes of Steve Albini, Ira Glass, John Cusack and more.
The release date is June 24th. |
