That's right ... 20 years. From the days of Bruce Pavitt and Jonathan Poneman to its current incarnation, Sub Pop has always been a driving force in underground (subterraneanan?) music, hatching the likes of Nirvana, Wolf Parade, and Mudhoney.
To celebrate it all, they're throwing a giant bash in the form of a two-day festival at Marymoor Park on July 12 & 13. They''re calling it SP20. They'll feature bands like Comets on Fire, Foals, Iron & Wine, Kinski, Low, Mudhoney, No Age, Wolf Parade, and many more to come.
They'll also get their comedy on the night before at Seattle's Moore Theatre. Of course Eugene Mirman and Patton Oswalt will be there alongside others (it's a "surprise").
