The Hold Steady Optimistic About New Album

By: Spacelab Research Staff

What could be more positive than news about new music from The Hold Steady? Even more new music from the Hold Steady maybe ... and a live show by The Hold Steady.

The band is so optimistic about where they're headed musically that they've named the album Stay Positive. It will be their fourth full length album.

It's set for release in America on Vagrant. They're out touring right now in support of the release, with dates in the U.S. and then the U.K., then Ireland, then the U.K. again, all before heading back to the U.S. before heading back to the U.K. again. Whew! Who's booking these shows?

Europeeps will get their version of Stay Positive the day before on July 14th via Rough Trade.
