Peter Gabriel's web site has been stolen.
Perhaps it's a new form of online piracy, although it wasn't stolen through the Internet. The thieves stole Peter Gabriel's web site the old fashioned way: a rootin' tootin' real world break in! That's right, the ISP that hosts Mr. Gabriel's site (among others), suffered a break in that resulted in stolen hardware.
"Real World, Peter Gabriel and WOMAD web services are currently off-line. Our servers were stolen from our ISP's data centre on Sunday night - Monday morning. We are working on restoring normal service as soon as possible,"" reads the temporary page now located at the web site.
