High Places continue their upward trajectory with a recent signing to Chicago's Thrill Jockey Records. The Brooklyn-based duo of Mary Pearson and Robert Barber will release a full length album on September 23rd.
The band's sound is a DIY compositional style that will fit in well with the quirky and eclectic sounds at Thrill Jockey.
They're also heading over to Europe with Deerhunter to play some shows in June. Other touring highlights include a stop at Ontario's Over the Yop Festival and the Pitchfork Music Festival. All in all, things are looking up for High Places.
