This year's line up for New York's Siren Music Festival has been announced, with a quality line up of bands:

"STEPHEN MALKMUS AND THE JICKS, BROKEN SOCIAL SCENE, THE HELIO SEQUENCE, BEACH HOUSE, TIMES NEW VIKING, JAGUAR LOVE, THE DODOS, ANNUALS, FILM SCHOOL, PARTS & LABOR, DRAGONS OF ZYNTH, THESE ARE POWERS, DJs and more to be announced."

They're in all capital letters to simulate the all-booming, all-knowing, god like voice that makes festival announcements to the world. It's for dramatic effect.

This year's festival happens on Saturday, July 19th at Coney Island. It will be the 8th incarnation of the festival.

The festival is put on by the Village Voice, the entertainment weekly of what goes down in New York. They throw a free festival, with live music and DJ's on two stages.
