Lou Reed, a New York icon and legendary musician in his own right, has signed on to the Sirius Satllite Radio network for his own show titled New York Shuffle. Yes, I'm serious.
Lou's show will run on SIRIUS Disorder, Saturdays at 6 pm, Sundays at 12 noon and Mondays at 4:00 pm (EST).
""For years, I've always been a fan of eclectic radio, such as FM radio in the past when you could hear stations play widely divergent music, ranging from rock to country to jazz to opera. I loved the days when DJs who did their own programming set the bar high," said Lou when speaking about the new show.
Reed will co-host the show with music producer Hal Willner, the same guy he worked with on the concert film Berlin.
