Thievery Corporation to Launch Heady Outernationalist Music Tour

Sonic internationalists Thievery Corporation have set up a six date tour called The Outernational Music Tour with a heady and diverse bunch of bands that fit well with the Thievery Corporation mind set. Known for their Brazilian-influenced bossa nova-dub style, Thievery Corporation have shaped an sound aesthetic that has a purely unique worldview. They'll take this idea into curating the Outernational Tour.


Gnarls Barkley, TV on the Radio, Ladytron, Bebel Gilberto, Seu Jorge, Federico Aubele, Los Amigos Invisibles will round out the line up. Different groupings of these acts will based on location.


Thievery Corporation are dragging representatives of the UN World Food Program along on the tour to "raise awareness among concert-goers about WFP's fight against global hunger and the catastrophic effects on the hungry poor of the global food crisis."
