The hippies said to never to trust anyone over the age of thirty ... so what would the punks of yore say about a fity-year-old? Even better yet, what happens one of them turn fifty?
Jello Biafra, lead singer of the original Dead Kennedy's and all-around stick-in-the-eye of the establishment kind of guy is turing fifty, and there's a big party / live show afoot at San Francisco's Great American Music Hall to celebrate.
Called Biafra Five-O, the show is set for June 16-17, and will feature performances from Jello Biafra with the Melvins (the Jelvins), Jello Biafra's new unamed band (that's so punk), Drunk Injuns, Los Olvidados, The Melvins, Triclops! and Akimbo. Tickets are $22 per night in advance or $40 for both nights. |
