Brooklyn's TV On The Radio have just announced a set of North American tour dates that start out with an appearance at Portland's Musicfest NW before heading off to Canada and international hot spots like Boise and Salt Lake City. They'll also hit more festivals with Monolith and San Diego's Street Scene.
No word on a new album yet, but maybe that's what the road trip is all about: the age old road-testing of new material. With the the end of the Bush presidency on the horizon, it's high time to revisit their free MP3 of Dry Drunk Emperor, a stinging rebuke of the Bush tenure released shortly after the (lack of) response to Hurrican Katrina.
