Brighton's Fujiya & Miyagi are coming stateside for a visit to a number of U.S. cities in October. They'll school all of us on experimental electronic music surrounded by accessible beats. The music is so beat-steady that it's almost impossible to turn it on and not be affected by its overwhelming beatitude.
They're touring in support of their album Lightbulbs, due out on September 6th in the U.S. via Deaf Dumb & Blind, and September 1st in the U.K. on Full Time Hobby.
You can stream two songs (Knickerbocker and Dishwasher) from the album at their MySpace right now.
