The only way you could get more independent is if you did it yourself. Independet music site Pitchfork Media has announced a joint deal between their Pitchfork TV site and the Independent Film Channel to produce some shows for the IFC in a programming block called Pitchfork Airwaves on IFC that will start on August 24th.
They'll grab shows you can already see on Pitchfork TV and run them on the IFC TV-based network. Right now, they're counting on "Daytripping," "Juan's Basement," "Don't Look Down," "Interview" as well as other yet to be named shows.
