These days there's a fine line between a leak and an accident when it comes to circulating (dis)information online. So when information about Sony's new Walkman E Series popped up in New Zealand on Monday, one had to wonder whether it was intentional or not.
The information popped out of the Sony web site in New Zealand before quickly showing up on SonyInsider. Sony may giveth and Sony may taketh away, but information on the web is forever, baby.
Regardless, what's floating around right now looks pretty cool. Consider this: it works with iTunes or Windows Media, plays video, has an FM tuner, and lasts through 29 hours of audio or 7 hours of video. Audio types supported: MP3, AAC, WMA and WAV. The word on the web is that these are lower end models of what's coming and intended for the budget-minded. With the kind of economic upheaval going on around the globe today, we all could use some price lovin.'
There were three different models in four different colors: NWZ-E435 (2GB), NWZ-E436 (4GB), and NWZ-E438 (8GB); you can get them in red, turqoise, pink or black. They might be out in a few months, just in time for the holidaze.
