Shortly after they release their anticipated album Car Alarm, The Sea and Cake will head out through larger American cities in November and December. They'll play shows with Death Vessel (first half of the tour) and Field Music (2nd half of the tour). They'll also hit Montreal and Toronto along the way.
Car Alarm shows the band as a well-oiled and finely tuned machine, cranking out music and making everything right. Recording label Thrill Jockey said this about the album: "Prekop says the band wanted to make a record that felt like they had never stopped playing, a continuously limbered up ensemble that parlayed its last tour into new material. They started working on it right after an Australian tour in March, and finished it after a miraculous three-month gestation."
