What Made Milwaukee Famous are releasing a digital EP called The Sugar Hill Sessions EP. How much would you pay for an item like this? I should tell you in advance that there's no free set of steak knives, or anything like that involved.
But it's free! For a limited time, Barsuk Records is a offering the EP as a free download from their web site.
"It's just 5 guys in a classic Texas studio with guitars, piano and simple percussion, performing their songs in one take. No bells, no whistles, no overdubs," said the label about the album. Stripped down, laid bare for all the world to hear.
The EP is the follow to their second full length album on Barsuk Records, What Doesn't Kill Us.
