The Gutter Twins are set to close the last chapter of being a band. Greg Dulli and Mark Lanegan recently told NME that their tour in 2009 will be the last time they work together, at least for the foreseeable future.
So if you live in Europe, this is your last chance! If you live in the US, too bad. The party's over.
Billed as "An Evening With Greg Dulli & Mark Lanegan," the shows will feature an intimate, stripped-down in-the-gutter vibe. They'll also play some songs they've never played before live.
"Since our instrumentation for this tour is going to be radically different, the shows will include many songs neither of us have performed in quite some time or ever," said Greg Dulli.
After the tour, both of them will keep busy with ongoing projects. Mark Lanegan will start a new solo album and work on a project with Soulsavers. Greg Dulli will start a new album with Twilight Singers. He also just released a live solo album titled Live at Triple Door.
