Juno Proved Grand Movies Require Grander Soundtracks

An independent flick turned mainstream success, the movie Juno has been talked about since before its premiere. In addition to movie-side critiques, there have also been many raving comments about the soundtrack. In fact, the Juno soundtrack was such a winner, Rhino Records has decided to up the ante and throw in some rare B-Sides for a 34-track Juno collection.

The double-disc Juno: Deluxe Edition will come with a 16-page booklet of never-before-seen storyboards from the movie, as well as some extra stills and track notes from director Jason Reitman. Not only will the 19 soundtrack originals be part of the collection but so will 15 additional songs which the director had in mind for the film but was unable to use, including songs by Astrud Gilberto, Belle & Sebastian, Buddy Holly and more.

This sweet package will be released on November 25, 2008.
