ATP New York Adds Flaming Lips as Curators

The Flaming Lips have been tapped to guest curate the Sunday part of next year's ATP in New York, allowing them to choose about 15 acts to play alongside them.

ATP organizers are curating the Saturday part of the show, and have just added Autolux and Black Dice.

The Criterion Collection, curators of their own fine collection of DVD releases, oversaw part of the ATP film festival in 2008, and will continue in 2009.

The festival will take place on September 11-13 at Kutsher’s Country Club in Monticello, New York. Tickets are on sale now.

Also on tap for the show are Animal Collective, Anti-Pop Consortium, Atlas Sound and Panda Bear. David Cross will host the comedy stage.
