Phosphorescent Readies Two Albums for 2009

Phosphorescent will glow brightly in 2009 with not one but two releases, starting with To Willie in February.

Recorded in Phosphorescent's warehouse space in Brooklyn near the end of 2008, To Willie is a collection of Willie Nelson songs redone a la Phosphorescent. Which is to say, they've been "Phosphorescentisized".

The second release is unconfirmed, but Pitchfork swears that there's another one coming.

To Willie will be released on Dead Oceans.
