Austin's South by Southwest Music festival, more than just an indie feel good affair, has named an initial list of performers for the 2009 festival.
It features peeps you might already know, like Akron/Family, Asobi Seksu, Ben Kweller, Crystal Method, P.O.S., Port O'Brien, and Ra Ra Riot; it also features a lot of names you might not be so familiar with. Check out the festival overview for the full line up as it stands so far.
The music part of South by Southwest takes place in Austin, Texas on March 18-22.
