Pitchfork, My Bloody Valentine and Spiritualized Join Primavera Sound Festival for 2009

Pitchfork will be curating a stage in May at this year's Primavera Sound Festival, adding to the line up of the established event and bringing Pitchfork's sound aesthetic to Spain.

Vivian Girls, Wavves, Crystal Stilts, The Tallest Man On Earth, Ponytail, Crystal Antlers, The Bug, Bowerbirds, The Mae Shi, and Plants & Animals are all confirmed so far for the Pitchfork stage.

Already named by Primavera Sound organizers: My Bloody Valentine, Damien Jurado, Gang Gang Dance, Alela Diane, Michael Nyman, Extra Life, Kitty, Daisy and Lewis, The Soft Pack (formerly the Muslims), Throwing Muses and The Vaselines.
