Islands Are In the Studio

Islands are in the studio recording some new material, according  to their label Anti- Records. They're working with producer Chris Coady (Yeah  Yeah Yeahs, TV on the Radio, !!!) in New York to which will end up as a full length album. It will be  the follow up to last year's release Arm's Way.

Nick Thornburn is Twittering comments as the sessions happen, with comments like "Just recorded  "the drums". Reggae from mars. But it's not dub. If it's not baroquein' don't fix it." Check them out  here.
