Blur Announce Festival Appearances

The Summer of 2009 is proving to be the Blur reunion Summer. They've added festival dates to a growing list of shows.

Blur is furthering their runion with some newly announced festival appearances this Summer, including stops at Oxegen and T in the Park. The festivals are mirror images of the other (taking place on the same weekend), with Oxegen in Ireland, while T in the Park is in Scotland.

In addition to the two festival appearances, Blur will also play two shows in Hyde Park this summer. An announcement from the Blur web site reads "Blur will play two live shows in Hyde Park in Summer 2009. Graham Coxon will join Alex James, Dave Rowntree and Damon Albarn onstage for this first time since their Royal Festival Hall performance in 2000." The shows are on July 2-3 and tickets are cuurently on sale.

This will be Blur's first T in the Park appearance since 1994. Check out the festival overviews for more information.
