Pixies Will Dis America This Summer, Give Europe Love

Comin' straight outta Billboard -- The Pixies will officially dis America this Summer. Maybe. Their due to play some European festival gigs, their first since 2007, but no U.S. dates are planned. Yet.

They'll perform at the Isle of Wight festival on June 14th, and Billboard promises that more European gigs will be released by the band soon.

As for any new material from the band, it's not bloody likely.

"I tried to find my Pixies muse and write a so-called Pixies number," he said, "but they just weren't any good. They sounded a little contrived or something," Frank Black told Billborad in 2006 after an attempt at writing new material.
