Roots Picnic Returns to Illadelph This Summer

By: Spacelab Research Staff

It looks like being the house band on the Jimmy Fallon Show isn't all The Roots will be doing this Summer. They're planning on doing a second version of their Roots Picnic in Philadelphia on June 6th.

They've invited TV On the Radio, The Black Keys, Public Enemy, Antibalas, Santigold, Dirty Magazine featuring Zoe Kravitz, and Busdriver. The Roots will also perform two sets.

Public Enemy will perform It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back backed by both The Roots and Antibalas.

Asher Roth, Writtenhouse, Back to Basics – King Britt & Dozia, Dave P. and Kid Cudi will perform on the second stage.
