M.I.A. has been added to the Coachella 2009 line up and will perform on Saturday April 18th. She'll be replacing the departing Amy winehouse, who had issues getting a visa for travel to the U.S.

M.I.A. gave birth last month, and this will be her first live appearance since then. She did perform at this year's Grammy Awards, shortly before birth. So much for giving up on playing live shows.

She also played at Coachella in 2005 and 2008.
