Merge Records laid bare some of the details behind their XX Merge Festival, a 20th anniversary celebration for the label.

Some of the names announced so far include Superchunk (who woulda thunk it?) Spoon, and Conor Oberst.

Merge XX will spend 4 nights at the Cat’s Cradle in Carrboro, NC and 1 night at Memorial Hall in Chapel Hill, NC (UNC Campus). The dates run from July 22 - 26.

You can get a 5-Day Pass for $150 that will give you full access to everything. They go on sale on Wednesday, April 8th.

There's also a 14 volume box set that goes along with the whole anniversary thing. Merge also recently release info on the "Covers" part of the set.
