Lollapalooza has named their 2009 line up, with headliners Depeche Mode, Tool, The Killers, Jane's Addiction, Beastie Boys, and Kings of Leon.
Other acts include Thievery Corporation, TV On the Radio, The Decemberists, Animal Collective, Of Montreal and Deerhunter. Check out the festival overview for a complete line up.
On March 31st, early bird tickets went on sale for Lollapalooza. Get em' while they're hot! Get em' before they're gone! Tickets seem to be in demand this year, as the festival already put souvenir tickets on sale, and theyre already sold out.
There's a total method to the Lollapalooza madness when it comes to early bird and advance tickets. Watch me break it on down:
Early Bird 3 day passes are on sale right now, for $175. When those run out, Advance 3 day passes awill be made available, for $195. When those are gone, Regular 3 day passes go on sale for a price they've chosen not to name yet. My guess is that the number might be so big that you might even go blind if you stare directly at it. You should probably buy now.
The festival will take place on August 7-9 in Grant Park in Chicago.
