Cornershop, where have you been? The band seems to be finally coming back to us with the news of a new single, new shows, and eventually a full album.

That's right I said it. A full album, and it will be preceded by the single "The Roll-Off Characteristics (Of History in the Making)" on May 26th. It will be packaged in 7" vinyl, and download formats.

"Musically it’s different, from the trombone/sitar get-go, right down to its funk outro, with country piano added for good measure," reads the band's announcement for the single.

Cornershop's next album is scheduled for release sometime this Summer.

No U.S. dates have been announced yet, but Europeeps are getting all the action:
