The Raveonettes will hit the studio this month to record the tracks for a full length album due out this fall. It will be available on Vice Records.
"Further details are forthcoming, but it's the anticipation that makes the release of a great record all the more worthwhile, right?" said the band in a minimal announcement.
"We won’t do any demos for these songs cause we’re trying a new approach of going into the studio with only the songs, meaning no beats, no guitars recorded, etc., and then start from scratch to see what comes of it but in the process of making the album, we’ll upload some rough mixes as we go along," added Sune Rose Wagner.
In the meantime, they can be spotted this summer at the Siren Festival in New York, Lollapalooza in Chicago, and Austin City Limits in Austin.
The Austin City Limits gig will be the start of a major North American tour; dates are forthcoming.
