Sian Alice Group Return From Traveling the World

By: Spacelab Research Staff

Sian Alice Group are planning to release their next big foray, titled Troubled, Shaken, Etc on August 4th through The Social Registry.

Improvisation, experimentation, live performances, and traveling the world are all key elements that have been integrated into the band's approach. The result is something that takes you on a ride through minimalist trances, electronic exploration, techno thump, jazz motifs and Eastern music influences on the new album.

The band has grown since the release of 59.59, as evidenced by their progression of things like Sian Ahern's voice.

“The developing solidity in Sian's voice naturally veered us away from using as much reverb as we did on 59.59, which makes the vocal much more immediate. The same can be said for the percussion, which is in abundance, as always, but is now much dryer and louder,” said Rupert Clervaux.
