With 2008's Loyalty to Loyalty in recent memory, the Cold War Kids have started working on new material and now have enough material recorded to release three full-length albums. How many songs? More than 40.
Speaking to BBC6 Music, bassist Matt Maust said "We’re just getting different sounds and approaching song-writing differently. We have a handful of songs that I’ve been recording and demoing and playing at sound checks and hearing how they sound live. They could go in any direction though because they're babies right now."
They've also recently launched a super-addictive interactive video that lets you remix their song in real time while watching the band play. The video is for the song "I've Seen Enough" off the before mentioned Loyalty To Loyalty.
