Warp Records is pushing a new Squarepusher live recording as a "strictly limited release" and "rare documentation" of what it's like to be at a Squarepusher show.

Taken from a 2007 show at Cité de la Musique in Paris, the album features Squarepusher, a bass guitar, and a small amp. Warp Records also takes pains to inform us that "it should be noted that the recording of this bare live show has been represented in its truest form ie. in one take with no editing afterwards. All compositions on this record are his own."

The purest of the pure. A continuous flow of Squarepusher unadulterated and absolute.

Titled Solo Electric Bass 1, the album comes out on August 17th on CD and digital.
