Warp Records Lays Out Warp20 Plans, Track List

By: Spacelab Research Staff

Warp Records has laid out its plan for the Warp20 compilation, the 20 year anniversary set from Warp Records. It's a set of goods that combine a standard best-of set, a fan-created set, a cover song set, and a bunch of 10" records with rare music. Shall we get started?

The breakdown of the package is in three basic parts: 1) Warp20 (Chosen), 2) Warp20 (Recreated), and 3) Warp20 (Unheard).

Warp20 (Chosen consists of the standard best-of set, split in two halves - one half chosen by fans in online voting poll, and the other half chosen by Warp co-founder Steve Beckett.

Warp20 (Recreated) is Warp artists covering other Warp artists.

Warp20 (Unheard) is a set of 10" vinyl records of rare and unreleased tracks by the likes of Flying Lotus, Nightmares on Wax, Broadcast, Seefeel, Boards of Canada, and more.

But there's still more ... Warp20 (Elemental) is a mix of Warp tracks done up by Osymyso. Warp20 (Infinite) is set of 10" records of loops and loops and loops, all looped together, over and over again.

The Warp20 compilation, the dizzyingly complex set of goods made simple by Spacelab. Warp20 (Elemental) and Warp20 (Infinite) details are still being worked, so in the meantime, here's the full data on the rest of the set:
