Charles Spearin's Happiness Project Announces Tour Dates

By: Spacelab Research Staff

A while back, Charles Spearin (Broken Social Scene, Do Make Say Think) got busy interviewing his neighbors in downtown Toronto about different things...and the subject of happiness kept coming up.

Spearin worked that thread with different people and eventually wrote music to follow the melody and cadence of how people would speak when they talk about happiness. He called it The Happiness Project.

After releasing the album earlier this year, Charles has decided that it's time to take it on the road. It's all part of a Do Make Say Think Tour, in which Happiness Project will be one of the opening acts. The other opening slot goes to other DMST member Ohad Benchetrit, with his Years project. Both acts are promising to round out the shows with special guest appearances.
