After signing to Thrill Jockey last year, White Hills are releasing a limited edition, vinyl-only EP titled Dead on October 6th. It will be limited to a run of 1,000 copies.

The dark and sinewy (and reverbery) sound of White Hills bridges the gap of bottom heavy (Hawkwind) and a more indie, Mudhoney-esque aesthetic.

The title track "Dead" was recorded at Oneida's Ocropolis studio and will appear on the band's full length release Oceans of Sound in 2010.
