Now you can escape to a musical oasis in the middle of the ocean: the Iceland Airwaves festival in Reykjavík. They just put tickets on sale for the 2009 gathering.

There's an early bird ticket price for only €50 (8900kr) that gives access to all venues for all 5 days of the festival. Individual tickets are available.

What's more, they've added 60 new acts to the bill, including Crystal Antlers, Kings of Convenience, Metronomy, The Field, Trentemøller and more.
