Now with more momentum added, Portishead are contemplating the release of their fourth album sometime next year. They are currently in the studio and working on new material.
"We're going to start writing and if all goes well it could be [out] in a year's time," the musician said. That would be the most perfect thing to do, " Geoff Barrow told the BBC.
Mr Barrow also spoke with NME, telling them that there's a new direction store for the next release.
There's even a good chance that we'll see more material in the future, after the fourth album. After the release of Third, the band started talking about the future, and Beth Gibbons asked if this might keep going. Geoff said "Well, yeah, maybe." |
