Jarvis Cocker: King of All Media. Now he's expanding into radio, as he'll be hosting a show on the BBC's 6 Music in the new year.

He's done gigs on Radio 2 and Radio 4 before, as well as 6 Music in the past. Now he owns the 3:30 - 5:30 pm time slot, starting on January 10th, 2010.

"Sunday doesn't feel that different to the other days of the week anymore. Although there was something weird about when everything seemed to stop on a Sunday, it kind of marked out the week. I am going to put the boringness back into Sunday.  That's my mission," he said when speaking to Steve Lamacq.

He said his show will be filled with "dodgy opinion, crackpot theories, hare-brained schemes & beautiful, beautiful music."
