Pixies have kicked of their U.S. Doolittle tour in style in Los Angeles by releasing a free EP of live tracks.

Originally announced via Twitter, the EP contains tracks from their recent Paris show. [LINK]

The band has released limited edition CDs and downloads from their European Doolittle tour, taken from shows in select big cities like London and Paris, among others. The CDs will be limited to run of 1000, and were available 10 minutes after the show ends. How's that for service?

They're even offering USB sticks with music from the shows and videos made especially for the tour.

But for those who don't get in on that action, there's always a small taste of the music, every bit as good as it was 20 years ago.
