The Clash are calling with a new reissue of an old classic. They're marking the 30th anniversary of London Calling with a CD and DVD package, due out on December 14th.
The newly packaged version will be different than the 25th anniversary version, and will include the Don Letts documentary "The Last Testament: The Making of London Calling," home-movie footage, and music videos for the songs London Calling, Train In Vain and Clampdown.
London Calling was a coming of age transition for The Clash, as they brought together so many of the influences they had been working with: punk, reggae, ska, rockabilly, lounge jazz, rock sounds, social messages and politics.
