How Brian Jonestown Massacre Got Their Groove Back

Iceland and Berlin, it seems, have been the spots of rejuvenation for Brian Jonestown Massacre. That's where the band recorded their new album Who Killed Sergeant Pepper?, which is due out on January 1st.

Will Carruthers (Spiritualized, Spacemen 3), Icelandic artist & filmmaker Unnar Andrea Einarsdottir and Felix (Amazing Electronic Talking Cave) and various musicians from France, Germany, & Iceland all make appearances on this album. It looks like BJM have gone international.

Check out the influences: ambient bhangra beats, rock, shoegaze, Eastern European gypsy and swirling psychedelia.

There's a single that's already out, titled One, with the two album tracks  "The 'One'" and "This Is The First Of Your Last Warning (Icelandic Version)" along with two other non-album tracks. It will only be available on 180 gram orange vinyl.

Here's the official unofficial track list ...
