Quasi are set to release their eighth album, American Gong, on February 22nd/23rd, 2010. It will be the first full-length release for Quasi on their new U.S. label, Kill Rock Stars. Europeeps can find it on Domino Records.

They've just released a free track from the album.

American Gong is a special 2 Disc set, featuring 'So Far, So Good: A Quasi Anthology', a culmination of past tracks. The new music was mixed by Steve Fisk, Tucker Martine and Dave Fridmann.

The release will see the dynamic duo of Quasi expand to include bassist Joanna Bolme. Power trio!
