It appears that Damon Albarn's appearance on the new Massive Attack album Heligoland resulted in working dedicated hours for a week long block. Albarn didn't want to get pulled into a drawn out affair that took a long time to complete.

In an interview with Robert 3D Del Naja told NME that Damon had said "We'll work 10 to six, at my studio, for five days and that'll be it'. The irony was that it was him who ended up instigating all the bad behaviour!"

Alban appears on the song "Saturday Come Slow." The album will be released on February 8th/9th depending on which side of the Atlantic you live on.

It features all sorts of guest appearances from people you know, as does every Massive Attack album, including Tunde Adebimpe of TV On the Radio, Martina Topley-Bird, Hope Sandoval, Damon Albarn of Blur and Gorillaz, Adrian Utley from Portishead and Tim Goldsworthy from DFA.
