Dan Bejar's Destroyer project is getting some reissue treatment from Merge Records in the form of City of Daughters and Thief on CD and Streethawk: A Seduction on CD and vinyl. The release date is April 20th.

Destroyer features overtly poetic lyrics surrounded by swirling melodies, verses weaving themselves into would-be choruses via abrupt changes amid yelps, synths, the ever present jangling guitars. It's like the poetry of a madman, in the best way.
