Chicago's The Ponys have announced some spring and summer tour dates, right around the time of the release of their new EP Deathbed + 4. They'll release it on Matador Records on April 20th.
The band has signed to a multi-album deal with Matador in 2006, rumored to be inked in blood, maybe even pony blood. The band plays guitar-driven indie rock, a little bit impassioned, a little bit detached. It's a gritty workout of intensity and honesty.
