The 2010 Glastonbury Festival is adding a new stage to its madness, titled the West Holts stage, and has named a lineup. The headlining acts for West Holts will be will be Mos Def, George Clinton and Funkadelic and Rodrigo y Gabriela.
Other acts scheduled to play include Femi Kuti, Devendra Banhart, Os Mutantes, Toots & the Maytals, and more. Check out the full West Holts stage lineup.
The stage will replace the Jazz World Arena. Apparently we're not live in a jazz world anymore.
"We're going back to the real roots of Worthy Farm and its history with the name change for the stage. West Holts was a 'halt' originally; one of the two places where we had to open the level crossing gates across the old railway line to get the cattle through for milking. It was a fair walk up to the farm, just as it is now, and those cows took some driving!" said Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis.
